Swindon Recital Series (SRS) is a registered charity based at 51d Broome Manor Lane, Swindon SN3 1NB. We can be contacted by post at that address or electronically via the website https://swindonrecitalseries.org/contact/.

SRS holds paper and electronic data about individuals who register to join the mailing list. The data may be collected via the contact form on the website or by entering details onto the paper sign-up form available at any recital. If a contact is made in any other way your consent to hold your data will be requested in writing.

This statement clarifies what data we collect, how we use it and your right to withdraw your consent.

The only details we hold are your name, your home address where provided and your email address. If you have given us your email address that is what we use to contact you. If you have no email address we post information to your home address. If your email address fails we will contact you by post to your home address, where provided.

We use your personal details to contact you, usually, but not always, through the medium of a newsletter, to let you know about recitals and other general matters concerning SRS, as well as informing you about concerts, events and exhibitions being staged by other arts and cultural organisations with which we have mutual arrangements.

Your details are not passed on to any other organisation whatsoever.

You are entitled to ask for details about the data we hold, to amend that data or to request that it is removed from our records.

If you wish to contact SRS or no longer wish to receive information from SRS please notify us by email via the contact form on the website (https://swindonrecitalseries.org/contact/) or in response to an email. For those without email addresses, postal contact includes the return address for information or to withdraw from the mailing list.

The names of Friends, Supporters and other individuals who make personal donations to SRS are listed in the programmes for Main Series recitals (i.e. not Lunchtime Recitals) unless they have asked for their names to be withheld. When the Treasurer makes an application for Gift Aid the names, addresses and details of donations of those who have authorised SRS to apply for Gift Aid are listed on the official application form.

If you have any concerns about our use of your personal information, you can raise these with us at 51d Broome Manor Lane, Swindon SN3 1NB or via the website.
